Day 1: Welcome to Nairobi, Kenya
Upon your arrival at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, a representative from Mond Safaris will greet you and transfer you to Hemingways in Nairobi. Take this time to relax and recuperate from any jetlag.

Day 2 & 3: Nairobi to Samburu
Begin your day with breakfast at the hotel in the morning and drive to Samburu. Once you arrive, Check in at the Lodge, enjoy lunch, and relax until 4:00 PM. Then, go on an evening game drive in Samburu, known for its rare animals like Reticulated Giraffes and Grevy's Zebras. Return to the lodge for dinner and spend the night
On Day 3, After breakfast, enjoy a morning game drive in Samburu Park. Animals normally gather near the "Ewaso nyiro" river to drink water, so it's the best time for a game drive. Later return to the lodge for lunch and have free time until 4:00 PM for another evening game drive. Dinner and overnight stay at the lodge

Day 4: Depart Samburu to Aberdare forest
After morning breakfast, depart from Samburu National Park and head towards Nyeri town. Stop at Aberdare Country Club for lunch, and then take a shared transport bus to the Ark Lodge. Relax on your balcony and observe forest animals like
Giant Forest Hogs, Elephants, Buffalos, and Hyenas. Dinner and overnight at the lodge

Day 5: Aberdare to Lake Nakuru Park
After an early breakfast, leave Aberdare National Park for Lake Nakuru. En route,
stop at the "EQUATOR" for a short visit. Continue to Nyahururu to see Thomson's Falls. Arrive at Lake Nakuru Park for lunch, followed by an afternoon game drive. Look for White Rhinos and other animals. Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight stay

After Morning breakfast at the hotel, depart for Narok town via Mai-Mahiu, passing through Kenya's breadbasket with vast fields of wheat and barley. Arrive in Maasai Mara in time for lunch. After a siesta, go on an evening game drive, known for various animals such as Lions, Elephants, Giraffes, and more. Dinner and overnight at the lodge
On Day 7, After breakfast, go on a full-day safari in Maasai Mara with packed lunch boxes. Explore the reserve, visit the Mara River, and look out for Lions, Cheetahs, Elephants, and maybe even the elusive Leopard and Black Rhino. Enjoy lunch
amidst the wildlife of the savannah. Return to the lodge around 4:00 PM for dinner and overnight stay

Day 9 & 10: Lake Naivasha to Amboseli National Park
After breakfast, depart for Amboseli National Park. Enjoy lunch at the lodge and relax before a 4:00 PM evening game drive. Amboseli Park is famous for its large family of Elephants and the majestic Mount Kilimanjaro. Return to the lodge for dinner
and overnight stay.
On Day 10, After breakfast, set out for a full-day game drive in Amboseli with picnic lunch boxes. Observe Elephants crossing from the woodlands to the swamp. If lucky, catch a glimpse of Mount Kilimanjaro and other animals like Buffalos, Zebras, and Impalas. Visit the Amboseli View Point for a panoramic view of the park. Return to the lodge at 4:00 PM for dinner and overnight stay

Mondi Safaris put together a full itinerary (which he communicated to us prior) including Queen Elizabeth National Park, Murchison Falls, Gorilla Trekking in Bwindi, and some street art and ended up at the Markets. Mondi Safaris met us at our apartment in Entebbe Town near the Airport and walked with us to the taxi ride to and from the street art, to save time. Mondi Safaris obviously provided a running commentary during the tour but also gave us an interesting insight into the recent history of Uganda, as well as providing tips on other things to see and places to eat in Uganda. One of the highlights of my trips was seeing the mountain gorillas. I flew to the location, Jose drove the long 10 hours to meet me and travel with me around the amazing sites around Uganda. Not only is he extremely knowledgeable as a tour guide, he is very personable, and will make your experience unforgettable. You will feel like you've known him for years after a few hours. Traveling through the wildlife parks and additional sites was an extraordinary experience with Jose. Further, he has knowledge far beyond that of any guide I have traveled with when it comes to issues that involve the vehicle you are traveling in, routes that should be taken to avoid delays etc. Every morning you will find him hard at work cleaning your vehicle, checking the oil, and preparing to gather your bags. This is man that takes care of your every need. He will take special care to be sure you are booked at the best lodges/camps with views that will take your breath away and staff that go above and beyond to be sure your stay(s) are perfect. Mond is open to any suggestions or options from the client and will got out of their way to be sure your trip is personalized, perfect and one that will be a "once in a lifetime"......although you will want to come back!!!!
