Day 1: Welcome to Kigali & Transfer to Volcanoes National Park
Upon arrival in Kigali, the capital of Rwanda, a Mond Safaris representative will welcome you and assist with customs and baggage claim. Afterward, you will proceed to Volcanoes National Park, the renowned destination for gorilla trekking in Rwanda.

Day 2: Gorilla Trekking & Ibyiwacu cultural Experience
After breakfast in the morning, go to the park headquarters where you will receive a briefing about the rules and guidelines for gorilla trekking. With the help of experienced guides, start your trek through the thick forest to find a family of mountain gorillas. Once you find them, you will have one magical hour to watch them closely as they eat, play, and interact in their natural home. After the trek, return to the lodge for lunch and some rest. Later in the afternoon, go on a cultural tour to visit the Iby'Iwacu Cultural Village, where you will learn about the local people's traditional way of life, including their music, dances, and crafts.
