Your adventure begins in Kigali, where you'll have a night to relax after your international flight. The next morning, we'll drive to Akagera National Park in eastern Rwanda for a two-night safari at Magashi Lodge. This park boasts a variety of landscapes, including wetlands, savannahs, and dense forests, providing excellent opportunities to observe a wide range of mammals and birds.


Afterward, we'll journey to Volcanoes National Park in the northwest for a two-night stay surrounded by its breathtaking forest. Here, you'll have the thrilling opportunity to track mountain gorillas. If you're keen, you can add extra nights to your itinerary for another gorilla trek or to track the golden monkeys before we return to Kigali.

Trekking gorillas in Rwanda and Uganda needs some fitness since you trek through the dense forests of the Volcanoes National Park and Bwindi National park, you'll be guided by experienced trackers to locate one of the habituated gorilla families. Upon finding them, you'll have the incredible opportunity of 1 hour to observe these magnificent creatures in their natural habitat, watching them playing is a humbling and moving experience that leaves a lasting impression on visitors.

Day 1: Welcome to Kigali, Rwanda

Upon arrival at Kigali International Airport, you'll be greeted by your guide who will then take you to your hotel.
