Day 1 of the 4-Day Rwanda luxury safari: Arrival in Kigali

Welcome to Rwanda! Upon your arrival at Kigali International Airport, you will be greeted by mond safaris representative and transfer to a luxurious hotel in Kigali. After checking in and freshening up, take some time to relax and recover from your journey. Kigali, the capital city of Rwanda, is known for its cleanliness and vibrant culture. You might want to explore the local markets, dine at one of the fine restaurants, or simply enjoy the amenities offered by your hotel.

Day 2: Transfer to Musanze (Volcanoes National Park)

After a delicious breakfast at your hotel, you will be driven to Musanze, a town situated at the foothills of the Virunga Mountains and the gateway to Volcanoes National Park. The drive will take you through beautiful landscapes and lush greenery. Once you arrive in Musanze, check into your luxurious accommodation for the night. Musanze is a charming town with a cool climate and offers a variety of activities for you to enjoy, such as exploring the local markets or visiting nearby cultural sites.

Day 3: Gorilla Trekking at Volcanoes National Park

This is the day you’ve been waiting for – an unforgettable encounter with the endangered mountain gorillas in their natural habitat. After an early breakfast, you will head to Volcanoes National Park for an incredible gorilla trekking experience.

Accompanied by experienced guides and trackers, you will venture into the lush rainforest to find one of the habituated gorilla families.

Once you encounter these majestic creatures, you will have the opportunity to observe them up close, witnessing their behavior and interactions. The encounter can last from one to four hours, depending on the gorilla’s location and movements. The experience of seeing these gentle giants in the wild is awe-inspiring and truly a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity.
After the trek, return to your hotel in Musanze and take some time to relax and reflect on the day’s amazing adventure.

Day 4 of the 4-Day Rwanda luxury safari: Departure

After a leisurely breakfast, bid farewell to Musanze and head back to Kigali. Depending on your flight schedule, you may have some free time to do some last-minute shopping or explore more of Kigali’s attractions before your departure. Your driver will transfer you to Kigali International Airport in time for your onward journey.
