Uganda luxury safari – 6-Day flying Safari to Gorillas & Chimpanzees Tour Itinerary Details
Day 1: Arrival in Entebbe International Airport Uganda
On arrival in Entebbe, you will be met by a Mond safaris guide and take you to your hotel where you stay for one night.
Overnight: No.5 Boutique Hotel (Bed and Breakfast)
Day 2: Fly to kasese airstrip near Kibale Forest National Park
Transfer to Entebbe airport and fly to kasese airstrip, on arrival, mond safari guide will be there to take you to the lodge, check in and later enjoy an afternoon guided tour of the crater lakes region and communities then later return to the lodge for Overnight: Crater Safari Lodge (Full Board – Dinner, Bed, Breakfast, Lunch )
Day 3: Chimpanzee Habituation Experience in Kibale National Park
Today’s adventure offers a unique chance to connect with our closest relatives in the animal kingdom and appreciate the delicate balance of nature in Kibale National Park, You will spend 4 hrs with chimpanzees as they forage, play, and interact in their natural habitat. Witness their social dynamics, from nurturing mothers to playful juveniles, and gain insights into their behaviors and communication.
Later return to the lodge for relaxation and overnight: Crater Safari Lodge
Meals plan: (Full Board – Dinner, Bed, Breakfast and Lunch)
Day 4: Transfer by road to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest
Today, Start a journey of about 6 hrs. drive to Bwindi National Park, Check-in and then in the afternoon, enjoy a guided community walking tour or opt to have a cookery lesson or basket weaving lesson at the Ride 4 A Woman Homestay (pre-booking required for the lessons).
Overnight: Mahogany Springs Lodge (Full Board – Dinner, Bed, Breakfast, Lunch )
Day 5: Uganda Gorilla Trekking Experience
Today is the day you have been waiting for, After breakfast in the morning, You will be taken to the briefing center and have the briefing about the Do’s and Don’ts during mountain gorilla trekking.
Once you find gorillas, you will spend 1 hour with them observing and return to the starting point and you will be awarded a gorilla trekking certificate.

Day 6: End of Uganda luxury safari Itinerary
After breakfast you will be transferred to the airstrip and fly with the domestic fly to Entebbe airport where you continue with your onward arrangements.
For those with late flight departures, we would be happy to help arrange additional activities and accommodation (extra cost applies).
