Day 2: Akagera National Park – Morning Game Drive and Boat Safari

Early in the morning, after a delicious breakfast, you’ll embark on an exciting morning game drive in Akagera National Park. The park is home to a wide variety of wildlife, including elephants, giraffes, zebras, antelopes, and numerous bird species. An experienced guide will accompany you, providing insights into the park’s ecosystem and helping you spot the animals. After the game drive, return to your lodge for a leisurely lunch.
In the afternoon, enjoy a relaxing boat safari on Lake Ihema. The lake offers an excellent opportunity to observe hippos, crocodiles, and a diversity of birdlife up close. After the boat safari, head back to your lodge for another comfortable overnight stay.

Day 3: Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park (Uganda)

After breakfast, you’ll leave Rwanda behind and start your journey to Queen Elizabeth National Park in Uganda. The drive will take approximately 6-7 hours, but you’ll be rewarded with stunning scenery along the way. Upon reaching the park, check-in to your accommodation and take some time to relax and unwind in the beautiful surroundings.

Day 4 of 5-Day best African safaris for families – Morning Game Drives and Afternoon Boat Cruise
