Boat trips-Lake Bunyonyi-Lake Bunyonyi is found in the western part of Uganda in Kabale and it is the second deepest lake after Lake Tanganyika. This is the most beautiful and safest place in Uganda to take the boat cruise. Note that Lake Bunyonyi does not harbor hippopotamus or crocodiles. Lake Bunyonyi has about 29 islands scattered all over the different areas of the lake with an island that is believed to have turned upside down (Akakuranika Island)

During the  boat trips at lake Bunyonyi, you will bet to explore some of the unique islands in this lake. Lake Bunyonyi is also known for its depth, is the deepest lake in Uganda, 2nd deepest in Africa and 3rd deepest in the World.

Boat trip is an interesting activity where tourists get an opportunity to explore the lake in an ancient dugout canoe. Boat trip/ canoeing on Lake Bunyonyi can either take a whole day or a few days depending on your preference and you will be accompanied by an experienced guide who is knowledgeable about the lake and the surrounding communities.
