Day 1: Arrival in Kigali and Transfer to Hotel
Upon arrival at Kigali International Airport, you will be met by mond safaris representative who will transfer you to your hotel. You have three accommodation options to choose from: Kigali Serena (luxury), The Manor Hotel (mid-range), and Discover Rwanda Hostel (low budget). Spend the rest of the day at leisure, relaxing and preparing for the adventure ahead.

Day 2: Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park in Uganda
After breakfast, you will depart for Queen Elizabeth National Park in Uganda, a journey of approximately 5 hours. Enjoy the scenic drive through the rolling hills of Rwanda and the lush countryside of Uganda. Arrive at your accommodation in the park in the afternoon, and spend the rest of the day at leisure.

Day 3: Lion Experiential/Game Drive and Afternoon Boat Cruise
Early in the morning, embark on a game drive in Queen Elizabeth National Park to see a variety of wildlife including lions, elephants, buffalos, leopards, and more. After lunch, take a boat cruise on the Kazinga Channel, which connects Lake George and Lake Edward, to see hippos, crocodiles, and numerous bird species.

Day 4: Transfer to Bwindi and Batwa Community Experience
After breakfast, transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, home to more than half of the world’s mountain gorillas. On the way, stop at a Batwa community to learn about their culture and way of life. In the afternoon, arrive at your accommodation in Bwindi and spend the rest of the day at leisure.

Day 5: Gorilla Trekking and Transfer to Musanze in Rwanda
Today is the highlight of your trip – gorilla trekking in Bwindi Forest. After breakfast and a briefing by park rangers, set off to track gorillas in their natural habitat. Spend up to one hour observing the gentle giants before returning to the lodge. In the afternoon, cross the border back into Rwanda and transfer to Musanze for overnight.

Day 6: Golden Monkey Tracking and Transfer to Kigali
In the morning, go on a golden monkey tracking excursion in Volcanoes National Park. These playful primates are endemic to the Virunga Mountains and offer a unique experience in the wild. After the trek, transfer back to Kigali and spend the rest of the day at leisure.
