Day 01: Arrival at Entebbe airport and transfer to hotel in Kampala

Day 02: Depart from Kampala to Lake Mburo National Park
After breakfast, we’ll depart for Lake Mburo National Park, known for its diverse wildlife and beautiful landscapes. The journey takes approximately 4-5 hours, passing through rural towns and scenic countryside. Upon arrival at the park, check-in at your lodge and have some time to relax. In the late afternoon, enjoy an exciting game drive through the park, where you can spot zebras, impalas, buffaloes, giraffes, and various bird species. Lake Mburo is one of the few places in Uganda where you can see zebras in the wild.

Day 03: Morning Game Drive and Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park
Start your day with an early morning game drive to catch sight of the park’s wildlife at their most active time. Your experienced guide will take you through the savannahs, woodlands, and acacia-dotted plains, increasing your chances of spotting more animals and capturing stunning photographs.
After the game drive, return to your lodge for breakfast and check-out. Day 04: Gorilla Habituation in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park
Today is an extraordinary day dedicated to gorilla habituation. Unlike regular gorilla trekking, this experience allows you to spend an extended amount of time (4 hours)observing and interacting with a gorilla family as they get used to human presence. This unique opportunity provides a more in-depth understanding of their behavior and social dynamics.
Accompanied by experienced researchers and guides, you’ll set off early into the forest to find the gorilla group undergoing habituation. Spending time with these gentle giants is a life-changing encounter that you’ll cherish forever.
With your expert guide, venture into the dense forest, hiking through the beautiful landscape in search of the gorilla family. The trek can vary in duration, ranging from 1 to 4 hours depending on the gorilla group’s location. Once you find them, spend an unforgettable hour observing these gentle giants as they go about their daily activities. The experience of being in close proximity to these magnificent creatures is awe-inspiring and heartwarming.

Day 05: Transfer to Lake Bunyonyi for a Boat Ride on the Lake
After breakfast, leave Bwindi behind and head to Lake Bunyonyi, one of the most picturesque lakes in Uganda, known for its scenic beauty and diverse birdlife. The drive takes approximately 3-4 hours. Upon arrival, check-in at your lodge and take some time to relax by the lakeside.
In the afternoon, embark on a relaxing boat ride on Lake Bunyonyi. The lake is dotted with 29 small islands, each with its own unique story and charm.
