Day 1: Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park
Upon arrival at the airport, our guide will meet you and transfer you to your accommodation near Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. After check-in, you can relax and enjoy the beautiful scenery of the park. In the evening, you’ll have a briefing session with your guide about the gorilla trekking experience and what to expect in the morning.
Day 2: Gorilla Trekking and Batwa tour in the Afternoon
After breakfast, you’ll be driven to the park headquarters for registration and a briefing by the ranger guide. You’ll then set off on a thrilling hike through the dense jungle in search of the gorillas. The trek can take anywhere from 1-6 hours depending on the location of the gorillas. Once you find them, you’ll spend an hour observing and photographing these magnificent creatures.
In the afternoon, you’ll have the opportunity to visit the Batwa community and learn about their traditional way of life. You’ll be shown how to make traditional crafts, music, and dance. This experience will give you an insight into the rich cultural heritage of the Batwa people.
Day 3: Departure to Entebbe Airport
After having breakfast and checking out of your accommodation, Mond Safaris driver will take you on a journey towards Entebbe International Airport for your outbound flight. Along the way, you’ll make a stop at the Equator, where you can take some time to explore and learn about this famous landmark. Afterward, you’ll continue on your journey to the airport for your flight.
