The 3-Day Chimpanzee Tracking Rwanda & Canopy Walk Tour offers a thrilling adventure in the heart of nature. DAY 1: ARRIVAL and Transfer to Nyungwe (5hrs drive)

On arrival at Kigali International Airport, you will be welcomed by mond safaris guide, who will meet you in the airport lobby, please look for a white signboard with your name. You will then be transferred to the hotel which is 20 minutes away from the airport for Dinner and an overnight stay. Kibale National Park

Depart your hotel with a packed breakfast to experience the misty rain forest of Nyungwe prominently known for having 13 species of primates including the famous chimpanzees that you are all anxiously interested in today, and also as a birder’s paradise. Drive for one hour to Cyamudongo, the park office for a briefing before you undertake the chimpanzee trekking activity, after an interesting and memorable search for the chimpanzees in the forest, you are privileged to spend 1 hour with them taking photographs and videos and return to the hotel for lunch. Later in the afternoon, prepare yourself for a canopy hike which gives you a panoramic view of the forest and a glimpse of birds, and then return in the evening for dinner and an overnight stay at One and Only Nyungwe House (Luxury), Mantis Marina Bay Hotel (Midrange), and Chimpanzee Lodge (Budget)


Day 3: Departure

After an early morning breakfast, it’s time to bid farewell to the stunning landscapes of Nyungwe. You will check out from your accommodation and meet your guide, who will assist you in the journey back to Kigali for your departure flight.


1. Chimpanzee Trekking Permit in Rwanda.
2. Transportation in a 4×4 Safari Land Cruiser with a pop-up roof for easy game viewing & photography.
3. Services of an English-speaking experienced Safari guide,
4. Park entrance fees & Concession Fees as indicated in the itinerary.
5. All Government taxes
6. All arrival and departure transfers.
7. All Meals as indicated in the itinerary. (Breakfast, lunch & Dinner throughout the tour)
8. Drinking water vehicle during the safari
